Our Story
Welcome to GIST BAR, the haven for craft beer lovers in the heart of Brussels.
Born from a shared passion for the richness of the brewing world, our bar opened its doors several years ago with a simple yet bold idea: to offer only carefully selected craft beers from Belgium. Over time, our menu has evolved to also include cocktails, soft drinks, and wine.
Located on a lively street in the city center, GIST BAR has over time become a must-visit spot for the curious, connoisseurs, and hop lovers alike. Whether you're a born-and-raised Bruxellois or just passing through, you'll find a warm atmosphere, genuine hospitality, and above all... a constantly evolving beer list that reflects the most creative side of the brewing scene.
We work directly with independent, local breweries that share our values: authenticity, craftsmanship, and a respect for tradition as much as a taste for innovation. Here, you won’t find multinationals or standardized beers. Every beer tells a story. Every pour has meaning.
